Purpose & Goals

To achieve the company mission, we have established the following goals:

  • To access and provide necessary services for all seeking in-home services and to provide appropriate referral information to client when needed services are not available

  • Assist clients in managing household and personal care activities to maintain independency

  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all clients to demonstrates the company's responsiveness to their needs

  • Encourage an environment that facilitates a team approach that provides an opportunity for each employee to reach his/her maximum potential

Scope of Services

  1. HELPING HANDS HOME CARE provides a Registered Nurse who is responsible for supervision of all In-Home Aides services.

  2. Our goal is to provide the best, qualified service that is possible, and to pay close attention to:

  • Ensuring a "good, fit" with regards to matching the client with the best suited aide available, thereby enhancing continuous quality personal care service.

  • Your personal care and supportive service needs.

  • Monitoring the client's general condition and surroundings.

  • Provide information and referral services to other community services when needed.

  1. HELPING HANDS HOME CARE PERSONAL HOME CARE AND HOME HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS DO:

  • Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, mouth care, skin care, hair care, etc.

  • Light housekeeping.

  • Remind client of medication schedule.

  • Accompany client on outings.

  • Assist client in taking care of bills (Home Management).

  1. HELPING HANDS HOME CARE PERSONAL HOME CARE AMD HOME HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS DO NOT:

  • Collect any kind of blood work or laboratory specimens.

  • Administer any type of medicine (shot or pills).

  • No heavy or extensive housework.

  • Transport client unless previously approved by Social Services and/or HELPING HANDS HOME CARE administrative staff.

  • Feed or clean up after pets.

  • Mow lawns or care for gardens

  • Laundry/hanging out laundry in winter months if temperature is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rates & Coverage

Helping Hands Home Care, Inc. provides 24 hours, "around the clock" coverage if necessary.  Helping Hands Home Care, Inc. is a Medicaid provider.  Since Medicare often does not provide for in-home aides, private pay rates are discussed on a case by case basis.
